Biopesticides Europe conference kicks off in London

Active Communications International (ACI) is hosting the fourth Biopesticides Europe conference in London, the UK from 29-30 May

ACI stated that over the past few years, the global and European market for biopesticides has continued to grow significantly. With increased direction from the authorities and increased demand for sustainable agriculture, it is certain that the market for biopesticides will continue to experience unprecedented growth

However, there is still uncertainty within the industry as to how products can be effectively placed on the market. According to the organisers, issues with regulation and registration are still challenging.

The two-day event brings together major industry stakeholders from the biopesticides industry to discuss the challenges faced and future opportunities.

The conference will also discuss the current market overview, with expert highlights on the biopesticides market progress and new insights and innovation of pipeline projects.

Through the production of niche conferences, the organisers aim to (re)connect the highly targeted group of attendees for two days of interactive and inclusive discussions specifically focused on topics of maximum timely relevance to end-user clients and collaborators.

Important topics to be discussed in the conference include:

-Regulatory developments affecting Biopesticides at the EU Level

-Maximising market access for different zonal regions

-Technological innovations advancing the industry

-Developing integrated control programmes

-Digital tools and novel formulations

-Current low-risk criteria defined

-Biocontrol and organic agriculture

-Developing zero residue alternatives

-Working with farmers to increase production and protect the land

-Innovative partnerships driving the industry forward

ACI aims to ensure that participants are better equipped to return to their office to maximise the opportunities presented and meet the vital challenges of their day-to-day work.
