The focus of the workshop will be international regions showing promising market potential. Sounding out the prospects of the Southeast European region, the workshop features regional experts along with companies that are not only operating successfully in these markets but also have an interest in establishing further contacts.
Following a presentation of the economic area – including forest resources, forestry development status and goals, political and economic framework conditions –presented by international forestry expert Paul Dima from Finland, decision-makers from several attractive target markets will highlight background facts related to investment and national forestry development goals.
On the basis of these presentations, concrete findings and recommendations on short and medium-term procurement demand will be presented. A concise insight into the experiences of companies active in the markets will offer valuable advice on the technical and organisational challenges. Workshop attendees will be offered the opportunity at the end of the session to make direct contact with the international guests and speakers.
The workshop will take place on 19 July, 2022 from 16:00 to 18:00 (CET) in the INTERFORST Forum in Hall B6. According to DLG, the event language is English with German translation planned.
