IDMA and VICTAM EMEA to take place on May

Victam Corporation and Parantez Group have announced that the IDMA and Victam EMEA exhibition and conference will be held from 27-29 May 2021 at the Istanbul Expo Center in Istanbul, Turkey

Sebas van den Ende, general manager, VICTAM Corporation, said, “The decision to proceed was based on several factors, primarily the relative stability and positive forecasts of the COVID-19 situation in Turkey. Vaccination programs currently underway in several countries across the globe are expected to bring some global relief in the second quarter of this year. As such the Turkish government has allowed business events to proceed biding all measures are taken.”

Ende further added that many Turkish companies have confirmed their participation in the event, which has sold more than 5,000 sqm, surpassing its pre-pandemic expectation.

“In light of the positive market reception and with the event three months away, we have created an alternative exhibition format for international companies keen on being present, yet unable to commit to travelling. We are offering a hybrid on-line/off-line presence which allows companies to exhibit with a fully-branded and equipped stand including a local bi-lingual host to welcome and connect visitors to the exhibiting team at the office via live-stream,” Ende stated.

“We are confident that this hybrid participation format will enable international exhibitors to tap into this market potential with the brand presence and personal contact with targeted industry contacts (via live-stream) that one is accustomed to at events, whilst not bearing risk. Exhibitors will be 100% refunded should the event not be able to take place at this date.”

The IDMA and Victam EMEA event is strongly supported by associations from Turkey and many other countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

Bolstering international trade

The exhibition will be a great opportunity for suppliers who want to increase their overseas trade. This strong cooperation, which will be the powerhouse and locomotive of the sector, will bring together suppliers and investors who have been far from each other for a while because of the pandemic. The two companies that set off with the motto “The international event of the grain and feed milling industry” will bring together all components of the grain, feed, and pulses sectors under one roof on a stronger and wider platform, creating significant added value.

In accordance with the agreement between the parties, the 9th International Flour, Feed, Semolina, Rice, Corn, Bulghur Milling Machinery and Pulses, Pasta, Biscuit Technologies Exhibition (IDMA) will be held on 27-29 May 2021 under the name of IDMA AND VICTAM EMEA. The exhibition, which will be held in three halls (Hall 5, 6, and 7), will host its visitors in an area of 24 thousand sqm.

Getting in touch with professionals from 150 countries

Preparations for the sensational event in the industry continue at full speed. Parantez International Fairs, which has nearly 20 years of experience in the sector, continues its promotional activities uninterruptedly with its head office in Istanbul and foreign representatives. In this context, constant contact with tens of thousands of professionals and industry representatives is provided in more than 150 countries across five continents. The excitement for the exhibition is being kept alive with the posts on social media, the significance and rate of use of which are growing in the pandemic process.
